BOB READER (“THE OTHER BOB”) (DIRECTOR)

Having worked in the communications business for 17 years and during that time he also ran subsidiary Companies, a Building Business and a Garden Maintenance/Tree Felling, the latter of which had Branches everywhere!

A brilliant golfer he taught me how to play, his teaching methods slightly unorthodox but with amazing results. It took me quite a while to understand his comment when hitting the ball (do not look where the ball is going, you are not good enough) when this finally sunk in it meant do not bring your head up to quick. Bob and I practiced and played everyday together, my own progression was incredible. We have both quit playing a game we once loved, me due to our workload, “The Other Bob” due to the fact he says the game became too easy for him. He will play again when  they reduce the ball size to that of a marble.

Bob was one of the best amateurs I ever played with, if his mouth was slightly smaller and his brain slightly bigger I feel he could have been a top pro player.  (Only joking about the size of your brain)!

He has worked for BBC LTD for the past 7 years and in that period he has risen to the same heights that he achieved with his golf. He does the majority of the buying, runs contracts as site manager/agent organising the daily logistics of the business and along with this he also acts as my P.A. An amazing character with such a passion for BBC LTD treating the business as if it were his own. He never rests on his laurels always wanting to learn and take on everything that the business throws at him. As with his golf he excels when he finds himself in a new or difficult position.

A truly remarkable guy, every business would want “The Other Bob” on their side not only in business but also as a BEST FRIEND.
