BRIDGET OWEN (SECRETARY)

 

 

Graduated from Portsmouth with an HND in Hotel and Catering Management and Higher Certificate in Wine & Spirits (this was to come in very useful in life!).

 

Spent several years working in London and then departed for a year to travel abroad. Twelve years later came back home!

 

The interim years were spent working in Australia for a large catering organisation. Primarily involved in the Special Events division, managing premier outdoor events in Adelaide including the Formula One Grand Prix, Tennis and Golf Tournaments.  

 

Obtained a diploma in Business Studies in between jobs and also managed another trip around the globe with a years leave.

 

Joined Bob Black Construction Ltd in 2001 in a secretarial role which soon changed to a hands on site role. Now involved with every aspect of the building trade and loving the challenge. A believer that more women should enter the construction industry at all levels.

 

Shares Bobs passion for all sports especially skiing and the involvement with the Uphill Ski Club and The British Ski Club For The Disabled.
